Panhandle Breast Health (PBH), formerly Amarillo Area Breast Health Coalition, has served the Panhandle for more than 20 years. A volunteer-driven, non-profit organization with one paid part-time employee, PBH programs and services are free to the public. PBH provides breast health education, helping local women learn breast health practices, healthy lifestyles as well as where and how to receive screening services. This is no small task, but as Mahatma Ghandi said,
You must be the change you wish to see in the world.
We invite you to explore our website to learn more about our mission and how you can get involved. The DISCOVER tab includes information on Panhandle Breast Health and how our organization is making a difference in our community. The RECEIVE tab includes links to helpful resources and the GIVE tab details all the ways you can show your support for Panhandle Breast Health.
Making Breast Health Happen
in the Panhandle
Making certain all people in the Panhandle have access to breast health education and mammogram screenings.
Start by doing what's necessary; then do what's possible, and suddenly you are doing the impossible.
