Pink Cup for a Cause Campaign

Updated: Jul 8

Rudy's "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q Raises Funds for Breast Health Organizations

Rudy’s “Country Store” and Bar-B-Q Pink Cup for a Cause campaign is underway for 2023 with locations in Amarillo, Lubbock and El Paso benefiting Panhandle Breast Health. During October, guests may donate $1 to Rudy’s breast cancer charity partners. Guests who donate in-store receive a coupon for a free large drink to be used on their next visit.

Since launching the first Cup for a Cause campaign in October 2012, Rudy’s has raised over $2.5 million for breast cancer, military charities and hurricane relief. Guests may also participate through Rudy’s online ordering system, which includes curbside pickup and delivery. Those who do not live near a Rudy’s have the option to make a $10 donation online and have 10 Pink Cups shipped directly to them.

Panhandle Breast Health is a nonprofit organization working to decrease breast cancer deaths by increasing early detection through mammography. PBH provides breast health education and no-cost mammograms to medically uninsured residents in the top 26 counties of the Texas Panhandle.

“Each October when Rudy’s mobilizes their stores to raise funds for breast cancer organizations, they also raise awareness for small organizations such as Panhandle Breast Health who are working to save lives,” said Judy Neill, PBH executive director. “And, they provide their guests the opportunity to further the cause of early detection through their donation.”

PBH has provided breast screening services at no charge to more than 100 women this year. If you or someone you know is uninsured and in need of a mammogram, please contact PBH at 806-331-4710. Mammogram applications are also available online at www.panhandlebreasthealth.org. #PinkCup
