OUR COMMUNITY PARTNERS
COLLABORATING & LEARNING
A Core Value of PBH is to collaborate with others. From the beginning, PBH worked together as a Coalition with numerous agencies to accomplish its goals and objectives. In 2008, when PBH was designated by the IRS as a non-profit charitable organization, the Coalition became an Advisory Council with governance assumed by the Board of Directors. The Advisory Council meets several times per year to network and learn about each other’s work and activities.
PBH arranges for educational presentations at the Advisory Council's meetings, and participants are given the opportunity to discuss current issues. Many of these participants are also partners working together for the success of the WISE Woman Program.
